• Overnight stay in a tastefully furnished double room
• Floral greeting and Styrian apples in your room
• Generous breakfast buffet served in the historical ambience of the former courtroom.
During the summer you may enjoy breakfast al fresco on the picturesque terrace of our
interior courtyard.
• 3-course dinner in the Gschiel castle restaurant: The chef does the huffing and puffing
and cooking himself! Specialties of the season are skilfully prepared and served with
heart-felt attention to the smallest detail.
• Early in the morning or afternoon you then take off on a balloon ride, directly at Hartberg’s city limits.
• Balloon rides are available year round, weather permitting, an unforgettable adventure for young and old alike. For around 90 minutes you float above the rolling hillsides of eastern Styria and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the surroundings. All passengers who are taking a balloon ride for the first time are so anointed and formally received into this ‘aristocracy’. They also receive a commemorative certificate as a souvenir.  Should you set off for your balloon ride in the early morning hours, we will welcome you on your return to join us in a late breakfast and a glass of prosecco.
